Since Flickr popped up in my feed frequently enough to bring it back to attention, I finally cleaned it up a bit, moved it off Yahoo and deleted my Yahoo account in the process. Feels like a 10 minutes well spent. You can find me here btw.
Today my wife and me celebrated today our 8th wedding anniversary! As today had been a normal and normally long, workday, we will celebrate a bit more on the weekend with the new Star Wars movie.
It’s that time of the year at which a new default theme comes in (this year the Twenty Twenty), and I give my blog a facelift. In the process I added a landing page and a little bit of this and that. It is not all done yet, and there are some bugs and things I missed, but it is getting there.
From the recent light-show event in the city. I like to believe Kylo Ren’s lightsaber to have been an inspiration for this one.
While my copy of the newly released illustrated edition of Neil Gaiman’s “The Ocean at the End of the Lane” is still in the mail, and, I’m afraid, will continue to be so for a while thanks to the postal strike, I am though happy to see that the launch-event from London (?) can be watched here. Looking forward to watch it.
Since the weather turned rainy, gray and generally dreadful a quick reminder of just a few days ago.
And suddenly it’s Winter.
While reading the introduction to “The New Annotated H.P. Lovecraft” I ran into many, unknown to me, classics of horror fiction and read “Carmilla” by J. Sheridan Le Fanu which served from my understanding as inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
